Pak Captain’s Open Invitation To Team India

Pakistan is all set to host the ICC Champions Trophy next year. However, Team India showed no interest in visiting the neighbouring country due to security concerns. However, Pakistan’s newly appointed captain, Mohammed Rizwan, extended an invitation to India to visit their country.

Speaking at a recent event, Rizwan said, “Pakistani fans have a lot of love for Indian players, and we felt that warmth from Indian fans during the 2023 World Cup.” “I’m not sure if they’ll come for the Champions Trophy, but one thing’s for sure, if they do, we’ll make sure they get an incredible welcome here,” he further added.

Last year, Pakistan visited India to play in the Cricket World Cup and received a good welcome and reception in Hyderabad. The team played most of its matches in Hyderabad. However, it has to be seen if BCCI changes its mind or still sticks to its decision not to send its players to Pakistan.

The Champions Trophy will be held from 19 February 2023 to 9 March 2025.
