Record Breaking Champions Trophy Prize Money For Team India

Indian men’s cricket team recently registered a grand victory in the ICC Champions Trophy. As a token of appreciation for this huge achievement, BCCI announced a whopping cash reward of INR 58 Crore for the team.

“Under the able and astute leadership of Captain Rohit Sharma, India dominated the tournament, registering four commanding victories en route to the final. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is delighted to announce a cash reward of INR 58 Crore for Team India following their triumph at the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. This financial recognition honors the players, coaching and support staff, and members of the Men’s Selection Committee,” a statement released by the BCCI read.

Interestingly, the prize money that the team won officially is Rs 20 crore. The runners-up, New Zealand, walked away with prize money of around Rs. 9.72 crores.

Earlier, when the team won the T20 World Cup, BCCI promised a staggering Rs 125 crore for the entire contingent. BCCI is always first in rewarding the players for their incredible achievements. Ahead of the IPL tournament, it brings a huge delight to everyone involved.
