Finally, Rajasthan Royals Win A Game In IPL 2025

In the eleventh match of the Indian Premier League, Rajasthan Royals registered their first victory of the season, beating Chennai Super Kings by 6 runs.

Toss: CSK won the toss and decided to bowl first.

First Innings:
Chennai decided to bowl and initially struggled to control the runs. The RR batsmen thrashed the CSK bowlers for scoring a big total. Nitish Rana scored 81 runs off 36 balls, and Riyaan Parag also made a cameo towards the end of the innings. They scored 182 runs with the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. Khaleel Ahmad, Noor Ahmad, and Pathirana scored two wickets each, but the bowlers could not make any impression.

Second Innings:
The bowlers of RR are at their best today. Jofra Archer ensured the CSK batsmen were restricted in pushing the run rate further. Ruthuraj Gaikwad played the captain’s innings by scoring 63 runs off 44 balls, but he also could not help in the chase. Rachin Ravindra departed for a duck, while Rahul Tripathi, Shivam Dube, and Vijay Shankar hardly made any impression. However, Jadeja and MS Dhoni carried the hopes of CSK in the end. Dhoni settled in and started bashing the bowlers, but Sandeep Sharma and Heytmer caught him. CSK needed 20 runs from the last over, with Jadeja and Dhoni on strike. But Dhoni’s departure took the game away from CSK.

In a nutshell:
In both the bowling and batting departments, CSK needs to improve. They can not always depend on Gaikwad or Jadeja. The opening of the CSK is slow. To make things easier, the openers must score big on the card, especially during the chase. However, RR batsmen are in good form. Their bowling is even better. But, the crowd in Assam was delighted to witness Dhoni bat with some good strikes. CSK must focus on their batting while RR can get some relief. Team RR could not register any victory in their last game, but this time, they managed to open the table with 2 points. With the entire team returning to form, it can boost their confidence levels in facing their next game without any pressure.

Scorecard:
RR: 182/9 (20)
CSK: 176/6 (20)
