In another unwanted milestone, India has crossed seven thousands deaths of novel Corona virus. In the last 24 hours, 206 people have died while the total death count is 7207 as per the World Index.
Coming to the cases, 9983 new cases have been reported and this is for the third straight day that the cases reported are over 9600. The total cases count went up to 2,56,611 and India is placed sixth globally in the total cases.
The active cases count is 1,25,381 while the discharged people are 1,24,094. The recovery rate of the virus is over 48 percent stated the Union Health ministry. Maharashtra is the worst hit state with nearly 86,000 cases and over 3000 deaths. Tamil Nadu has over 31,000 cases, Delhi has over 27,000 cases and Gujarat has above 20,000 cases.
Coming to Andhra Pradesh, the total cases count is 4659 while in Telangana, the total cases are 3650. 137 people have died of virus in Telangana and the deaths in AP are 75.
