Pop star Britney Spears got married to her boyfriend Sam Asghari in an intimate ceremony. The couple started dating six years ago and they finally got married at Spears’ Californian home on Thursday evening.
The wedding ceremony was attended by close friends and family which reportedly did not include Britney’s mother, father, or sister Jamie Lynn.
Madonna, Paris Hilton, and Drew Barrymore attended the wedding. Spears and Asghari got engaged in September 2021, a couple of months before a judge ruled in favor of terminating the conservatorship. Britney and Asghari announced they were expecting their first child together. Later Spears revealed on Instagram that she had miscarried.
“I am very ecstatic this day has come, and they are married. I know he wanted this for so long,” Asghari’s manager, Brandon Cohen said in a statement to People.
On the other hand, Britney’s ex Jason Allen Alexander, who was married to Britney Spears for 55 hours in 2004, was arrested for gate-crashing Brintey’s wedding and live streaming it. Britney reportedly got a restraining order against her ex, Jason Alexander.
