One of the spine-chilling web series that has come up on Netflix which has taken the whole world by storm is “Dark”, created and directed by Baran Bo Odar. The director along with his team has delivered another such stunning mystery science fiction series “1899” which was released recently.
While intelligent audiences and intellectuals became huge fans of 1899, many common movie-goers haven’t understood the concept of this deep-mystery experiment series. After it got released in November last year, the story tells the story of a group of travellers on a mystery steamship named Kerberos, which deviates from its course to find another missing ship. While some critics slapped it for its slow pace, most of them praised it for its fine performances, screenplay and shock values.
Saying that 1899 is the most-watched show on Netflix in 58 countries, earlier the OTT streaming giant confirmed that they are going to come up with two more seasons. But now that Netflix has confirmed that they are not going to renew it, director Baran Boodar took to his Instagram profile to reveal the same. Reacting to this, many fans are now slamming Netflix for taking such a bad decision.
