Burning Issue: Chennai Doctor Stabbed 7 Times

In a harrowing turn of events, it is unearthed that a Chennai-based oncologist named J Balaji has sustained severe injuries after being stabbed 7 times. This has quickly become a burning issue on social media and the doctors community across the nation is fuming over the same.

Going into the story, J Balaji works as an Oncologist at the famous Kalaignar Centenary Multispecialty Hospital in Guindy, Chennai. He was on standard duty today as well, but something staggering happened in the morning hours as he was brutally stabbed.

The culprit, a 26-year-old male stabbed Doctor Balaji 7 times in his chest and head at 10 in the morning today. He happens to be the son of a female attender who works at the same hospital and was coincidentally treated for cancer by the mentioned doctor six months ago. She later developed symptoms of cancer which appears to have agitated the accused.

The accused, along with two other accomplices did something inhumane today as he stabbed the doctor a shocking 7 times. He and his two accomplices have been arrested and are in police custody now. His exact motive behind this heinous crime is yet to be established.

The doctor is being treated at a hospital and his condition remains critical but the vital parameters are stable. He is being treated in the Intensive Care Unit.

CM Stalin reacted to the incident and stated “The selfless work of our government doctors is immeasurable in providing appropriate treatment to patients. It is our duty to ensure their safety during work. The government will take all measures to prevent such incidents from recurring in the future.” A probe has been ordered.

The Doctors community on social media has taken serious offense to the incident and demanding immediate and stern action.
