Leopard Near Office: Infosys Says Work From Home

The employees of IT giant Infosys were delivered a pleasant surprise, which is also a shocker of sorts after they were instructed by the company to work from home after a leopard was spotted near their campus in Mysore.

Into the story, the security staff at the Infosys campus in Mysore, spotted a leopard at the underground parking and related footage was captured on CCTV cameras. The message was quickly communicated to the human resources department, who in turn restricted the employees from entering the campus since Tuesday morning.

Immediately after the news broke out, the forest department officials were alerted and a combing operation with 50 Forest officers is underway to nab the wild animal which is at large.

As many as 15,000 people work at the Infosys campus in Mysore and hence no risk can be taken. Shortly after the news about the leopard was communicated, the company hierarchy instructed the workers not to enter the premises.

While everyone would have been preparing for the holiday on New Year, January 1, The leopard incident on December 31, would have certainly come as an unexpected event.
