Vishwak Sen’s next film, titled “Gangs of Godavari,” is directed by Krishna Chaitanya and produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi. The movie is a period village political drama, and it features Neha Shetty and Anjali as the female leads. The actor took to Twitter and made controversial statements regarding the film’s release date.
Recently, there was some confusion regarding the film’s release date. Initial reports suggested a December 8 release, but a later news report indicated December 29 as the release date.
Vishwak Sen expressed his frustration on Twitter, stating that he wanted the movie to be released on December 8. He mentioned that he won’t participate in the film’s promotions if the film doesn’t release in December.
Vishwaksen indirectly hinted that people without background in the film industry will get exploited. He also confirmed that the decision he took is not egoistic.
The film is expected to be an action-packed political drama with special elements. It is rumored that Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi, known for her appearance in “Baahubali,” will perform in a special song in the movie.
“Gangs of Godavari” is a joint production of Sitara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas under the banner of Srikara Entertainments. An official announcement regarding the movie’s release date is expected soon.
