In Gudivada, politics have heated up with the visit of opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu. Commenting on National Investigation Agency (NIA) report on Jagan’s Kodi Kathi case, Chandrababu said it is proved that Kodi Kathi was a drama by Jaganmohan Reddy ahead of 2019 polls. He said he had dubbed it as fake and drama back then itself.
Naidu said he had told back then itself that there was no truth in Jagan’s allegations against TDP in Visakhapatnam when the Kodi Kathi incident had taken place. He said it has now been proved with the NIA’s detailed probe and its report. He said it is revealed and proved that the accused Srinivas belonged to YSRCP.
Chandrababu said Kodi Kathi was part of Jagan and Prashant Kishor’s ploy to gain public sympathy. He alleged that Jagan had gained the sympathy of the people of the state using the cold-blooded murder of his Babayi and former Kadapa MP YS Vivekananda Reddy.
As CM Jagan is declared as the Wealthiest CM in the country, Chandrababu asked what businesses Jagan had done and procured properties and wealth to the tune of Rs 510 crore. As per election affidavit in 2004, YSR family assets were Rs 1.7 Crore. Now, the assets of CMs of 29 states in the country together is Rs 505 crore whereas CM Jagan’s assets alone are above this. Naidu alleged that Jagan had illegal assets of over 2 lakh crore. He said Jagan resorted to corruption to increase his family wealth.
Naidu criticised Jagan’s stickers programme and said it is a new low. He said Jagan is the bad thing that happened to Andhra Pradesh state. Meanwhile, crowds attended in large numbers for Naidu’s road show in Gudivada. He said he had envisioned Amaravati as a great capital city and had put in a lot of effort for it and procured lands from farmers through land pooling which he said is first of its kind. Dubbing Jagan as “psycho”, Naidu alleged Jagan obstructed the development in the state.
Chandrababu Attacks Kodali Nani
Referring to Kodali Nani as “Boothula MLA”, Naidu said it is TDP which had given him political career whereas he turned out to be a dark spot in history. He said Gudivada is the land of NTR where he had walked. He said the sitting MLA turned this into land of illegal activities and atrocities. Chandrababu said Gudivada became host for Pekata Clubs, Casions, Cabaret dances. He said Gudivada people won’t spare the MLA and will teach him a strong lesson in the coming election. Without taking his name directly, Naidu unveiled all-round attack on Nani.
