Seema aka Rayalaseema is not a forte for TDP. Though it is where Chandrababu Naiud hails from and the Nara family has their roots in Chittoor, TDP has been lagging behind in the region. Conventionally, the people of the region have their loyalties for Congress (led by YSR) back then and later switched to YSR Congress (led by YS Jagan).
But turning against the tides, Nara Lokesh’s Yuva Galam yatra turned out to be a huge success in Rayalaseema. Throughout the padayatra in Seema, Lokesh had a different approach to reach out to the masses. Lokesh tried every trick possible to attract crowds and addressed them in their local accent. He called Tatha, Avva, Akka and Anna, the lingo that is well used in the region.
Lokesh addressed farmers and agriculture. He also took note of the local issues and made promises to resolve the problems by discussing with their leader. He assured that their woes will be resolved once TDP is back in power. This could be the maiden tour of Nara Lokesh in Rayalaseema, but the way he pulled off was quite well. Even TDP’s own leaders were shocked and elated with the response for Lokesh’s yatra in seema. The response from the public was overwhelming. This gave a boost to the TDP cadres.
After the successful yatra in Seema, Lokesh is entering into Coastal Andhra. TDP is expecting padayatra in Andhra region to be a phenomenal success. Already, the local leadership has made stellar plans. All in all, Lokesh is making his presence in public and thus taking the grip over the party into his hands. Chandrababu Naidu is a happy father and leader with these developments.
