Jagan Took 5 Yrs, Naidu Did In 5 Days

Telugu Desam supremo Chandrababu Naidu has resumed his journey as the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh again and he has started off rather briskly. Only yesterday did Chandrababu sign the file pertaining to the increment in a pension scheme and it has already come into effect.

The Government Order (G.O.) pertaining to the hike in pensions was issued by the government of Andhra Pradesh this morning.

As promised by Naidu earlier, the existing pension has been spiked from Rs 3000 to 4000. The pension for handicapped individuals has been doubled from Rs 3000 to 6000. Fully handicapped individuals will be getting Rs 15,000 instead of the existing Rs 5000.

Now TDP & Janasena cadre trolling Jagan for his step-wise hike of pensions. Earlier, Jagan Mohan Reddy took 5 years to hike the pension from Rs 2000 to 3000. He gradually did it in 4 incremental spikes amounting Rs 250 hike each year so in total it took him 5 years to increase the pension by Rs 1K.

But on the other hand, proactive Chandrababu hiked the pension from 3K to 4K in a span of less than 5 days. It appears that this is the kind of sharpness and quick resolution that the people of AP wanted and hence the historical mandate in favor of CM Chandrababu.
