What promised to be an insanely effective brother-sister bonding between Jagan Mohan Reddy and YS Sharmila prior to the 2019 election is in complete disarray now. The root cause of this virtually endless rifts is the improper property distribution which has angered Sharmila.
It has reached a point where Sharmila has written an open letter about the way in which the whole issue is being represented by Jagan’s mouthpiece media, Sakshi.
“Earlier today, Sakshi media which is controlled by Jagan garu wrote that I am a greedy person for demanding my rightful share in the YSR properties. But the fact is that YSR garu loved me more than anyone else and my mother Vijayamma wrote this in her book as well. YSR garu wanted his property to be divided equally amongst his four grandchildren, and sadly he lost his life before this happened.”
“Jagan garu was just a guardian for the properties but not the owner. All the properties that he currently claims belong to YSR and they are to be divided equally amongst the four children. While I fight for this cause, Sakshi Media is painting me like a greedy person without even knowing the facts.”
Shockingly, Sharmila stated “I don’t even have any real interest in these properties now because of all the torture that they(referring to Jagan) put me through. I am just fighting for the cause that YSR garu wanted all his properties to be equally distributed amongst his four grandchildren and Jagan is against it.”
Sharmila saying Jagan’s torture made her lose all interest in the properties and assets shows the kind of back-end tussle behind closed doors that went into this fiasco which has snowballed into an avalanche now.
