Gannavaram’s ex-MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi started off his political career with TDP and scaled great heights here. But he pulled off a coupe by joining YSR Congress and what happened later was an ugly saga. He spoke ill of Chandrababu and his family members, much to the dismay of everyone. Now that he is out of power, and YCP is not relevant, he has started to face the music.
Now, the AP government has commenced vigilance on Vallabhaneni Vamsi over allegations of irregularities in the gravel mining activities orchestrated by the ex-MLA in the erstwhile Krishna district. The government has vowed to enforce a CID investigation on this matter if needed and added that additional action will be taken against Vamsi if deemed fit.
While this vigilance has already commenced on Vamsi, his righthand men are also being nabbed in different cases. As is known, Vamsi’s main righthand Yatendra Ramakrishna was already arrested in a divorce case by the Gannavaram police.
Now, another set of men from Vamsi’s support system – Olupalli Mohanaranga, Anagani Ravi, Bheemavarapu Ramu, M Babu, and others were reportedly arrested for attacking a local TDP leader back when YCP was in power. This case was expectedly ignored while the YCP was in power, but it has come to full investigation now and several of Vamsi’s support system members are being nabbed in the same.
After Vamsi spoke ill of Babu’s family, there was a widespread commotion to bring him under the law and related action appears to be underway now at some capacity, opined a seasoned TDP follower who is closely monitoring what is happening in Gannavaram.
