Beware! CM Babu Warns About Burning Issue

Seasoned chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu usually maintains a very calm and serene personality. But in a rare exhibition of anguish, the CM looked a bit agitated in the media conference today. This happened while CM Chandrababu was addressing the burning topic of fake handicapped pensioners in Andhra Pradesh.

While speaking about the miss use of government pension, CM Chandrababu noted that there is a substantial spike in the number of fake pensioners in the state who are duping physical handicapping to claim Bharosa pension.

Chandrababu commented that nearly 5% of the handicap pensioners in the state are claiming the pension money through fraud documentation. Statistically speaking, 500 out of every 10,000 pensioners in the state are fraudsters.

Babu noted that this fake pensioners are providing duplicate handicap documents that they procured from certain hospitals in order to claim the pension money. The CM got infuriated with the same and ordered the local authorities to prosecute the hospitals and doctors who are issuing this fake documentation.

In this context, CM Chandrababu made a very strong statement as he said that the fraud pensioners will be cracked down very soon and the pension money that they collected till now will be fully recovered.

This essentially addresses another very important issue pertaining to the eligibility for the pension. Babu noted that misuse of pension programs will not just cost the state exchequer but also send wrong signals to the public as people will get infuriated if they see an ineligible person get pension through fake documents.

With CM Chandrababu himself addressing the ratio, the authorities have assured swift and adequate action.
