From June 1st, temples across the country have opened. But almost majority of the temples have performed trails before allowing common devotees. However, still there are a few temples across the country which haven’t opened up for devotees. Sabarimala in Kerala is one of them and Chilkur temple in Telangana is the other.
There are reports that Chilkur temple is reopened and so the priests of the temple have come forward to give an explanation. In a video byte released by the main priest said, the Chilkur temple is not opened to devotees yet.
“We are performing the daily rituals to the Lord Balaji in closed doors and we are praying that the global pandemic Covid-19 should vanish soon. Until the further notice, the temple will remain shut. Many people are reaching Chilkur by searching on Google about darshan. Don’t believe in Google as it is lying. If Google says the temple is open, scold it for giving misinformation,” said the temple priest.
In the fact this Chilkur temple priest is quite famous. He openly points out devotees who while doing rounds talk on the phone and takes pot-shots at them.
So Chilkur is closed and the temple priests will only take the decision of its reopening.
