Earthquake Hits Syria And Turkey Again, 6.3 M This Time

A 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck Southern Turkey near the Syrian border late on Monday. This time also, the tremors were strong and damaged many buildings in central Antakya city.

The earthquake was also felt in Egypt and Lebanon. This earthquake occurred two weeks after the country’s worst earthquake in modern history which killed thousands of people.

Ambulances rushed to the earthquake-hit area near the city center. The two larger earthquakes that hit on February 6, left more than a million people without homes and left around 46,000 people dead in both countries.
