India is making a new record everyday with the global pandemic. The country has added the biggest spike of 96,551 cases in a single day and the total cases touched 45 lakh mark. Currently the tally is at 45,62,415.
Even though the cases are reporting in huge numbers every day, the recovery rate is also high. The total recovered count has gone past the 35 Lakh mark. The active cases count is 9,43,480 while the recovered count is 35,42,664.
1209 people have died in the past 24 hours and the total death tally is 76,271, stated the Union Health ministry bulletin.
11,63,542 samples were tested yesterday and a total of 5,40,97,975 samples have been tested as of September 10th.
The state of Telangana has reported 2426 cases and the total cases are at 1,52,602.
