Rajasthan Minister Rajendra Singh Gudha Sparks Controversy with Comments on Lord Ram and Sita’s Beauty
Rajendra Singh Gudha, a minister in Rajasthan, has stirred up controversy yet again with his recent remarks about Lord Ram and Sita. During a public address in Jhunjhunu, Gudha stated that both Ram and Ravan were Mad of Sita because of her beauty. His comments drew laughter from the crowd present at the event.
The BJP strongly condemned Gudha’s remarks, accusing the Congress of indulging in appeasement politics. BJP spokesperson Shahzad Poonawalla highlighted the Congress party’s alleged history of questioning Lord Ram’s existence, opposing the construction of the Ram Mandir, criticizing the Gita Press, and even mentioning Hindu terrorism. Poonawalla called for Gudha’s dismissal from the Ashok Gehlot government.
This is not the first time Minister Rajendra Gudha has found himself embroiled in controversy. He has previously made questionable statements, including comparing roads to the cheeks of actresses Hema Malini and Katrina Kaif. Despite objections from Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot in the past, Gudha has continued to make controversial remarks.
Given that assembly elections are scheduled in Rajasthan this year, Gudha’s latest comments on Lord Ram and Sita’s beauty are likely to add fuel to the political tensions in the state.
