A trainee air hostess was found dead at her apartment in Mumbai’s Andheri last evening. 25-year-old Rupal Ogrey lived with her sister and her boyfriend, who had gone home a few days ago.
Rupal Ogrey was not picking up any calls and that is when her family reached out to her friends. The apartment was locked from inside and they informed the police.
The police broke into the apartment and found Rupal lying in a pool of blood. She was rushed to the hospital where doctors declared her dead on arrival.
Police arrested the main accused Vikram Atwal a 40-year-old man who worked as a sweeper in the housing society. The reports arrive that Rupal was found ‘throat slit’.
More details are yet to come and the accused is being questioned.
