Known for quirky tweets and critical comments, billionaire Elon Musk is on a rage on ‘X’, formerly Twitter, ever since he bought out the micro-blogging site. Today, when the servers of Facebook and Instagram started to behave strangely with users experiencing a lot of malfunction and deadness on the pages of these two social media platforms, Elon is at his witty best again.
“If you’re reading this post, it’s because our servers are working”, posted Elon Musk on his official X account, taking an indirect jibe at Meta’s Instagram and Facebook server issues. Users who happen to be fans of Elon Musk celebrated this tweet as they started to give their own comical and satirical finish to the comment, by posting lots of Mark Zuckerberg pictures, saying that he’s currently working on Facebook servers, to restore them to the best.
Meanwhile, top-level employees of Instagram and Facebook took to Twitter to actually post messages to their users. Especially Meta’s communications head Andy Stone took to X to write, “We’re aware people are having trouble accessing our services. We are working on this now”. Later he also posted that the issues were resolved.
